• Research, source, and purchase quality products and materials.
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
• Work with ERP system to evaluate current demands.
• Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouse team, engineering and purchasing manager as required.
• Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
• Initiate and track progress of RGAs as needed.
• Run daily material shortage reports.
• Communicate any problems in sourcing materials to management.
