About the Position:


Developmental Levels Needing Additional Teachers:

Junior Foundations - (5 to 7 years old) phonogram-based literacy program, reading & writing, in addition to foundational science, math & social studies
Lead Position Filled, looking for an another to Lead their own separate class of the more advanced, 7-8 year olds:

• 
  Senior Foundations
• (7 to 9 years old) finishing up phonogram-based literacy program, reading & writing, in addition to foundational science, math & social studies
  Needs a Lead Teacher:

Junior Explorers:

- (9 to 11 years old) elementary level academics
Lead Position Filled:

• 
  Explorers
• (12 to 17 years old) academic skill mastery, communications focus for ELA, multi-disciplinary hands-on science, logic & discovery method mathematics, leadership/personal development principles based social studies, and entrepreneurship
  Lead Position Filled, looking for a 2nd strong Teacher for this group to join the current teacher

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student within a small group of 2 to 18 students).
• Assess and record student progress on their personal and academic skill development, communicating this to parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers and parents.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to support alignment with Serenity's holistic philosophy

IE:

Conscious Discipline / Leadership & Personal Development Principles *We will have 2-3 required planning days before school starts on August 13, 2024.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and the principles of holistic education.
• Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and positive attitude.
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Additional Information:

• Start date: ASAP for Explorers, for next school year for other postitions
• Hours: 8:45 AM 1:15 PM, Tuesday-Thursday, 3 weeks each month
• Location: 2740 E Southern Ave, Mesa, AZ 85204

school year (August 13, May 22, 2025) will be on this campus, then we are planning to build out own custom campus for the following year to give room for additional classes and community services
