    JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for supporting Regional Offices, construction job sites, project controls, and various

    departments within Corporate by assisting site management and staff with project

    administration, project controls and contractual compliance of their projects.

    TYPICAL DUTIES:


    • Prepare and/or review billings to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness.


    • Monitor timely and accurate processing of subcontractor and accounts payable invoices.


    • Provide and implement solutions to resolve discrepancies and issues by interfacing with various contacts which include division managers, project managers, project staff, corporate admin, vendors, subcontractors and clients.


    • Initiate project analysis, financial review, and audits.


    • Involved in future enhancements and testing of ERP software as it relates to duties.


    • Set up project sites in compliance with company policies and procedures


    • Review contracts and implement procedures to fulfill Client's requirements


    • Maintain all data entry for Project Setup to include attaching files into OA, running PCS reports and uploading cost codes and budgets.


    • Create monthly manager reports and graphs.


    • Enter changes into the project cost control program, (OA and OSB) and update job database with current billings and collections.


    • Assist in preparing and copying job site billings.


    • Assist Field Admin and auditors on projects as needed.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related discipline is preferred.


    • A minimum of two years basic accounting experience preferred


    • 3-5 years of construction accounting experience or equivalent combinations of training and experience.


    • Understanding of time and materials, lump sums and unit rate items.


    • Domestic travel to job sites and regional offices

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:


    • Strong research, compilation, and summation of statistical data and information is required


    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


    • Previous experience with accounting systems is a plus


    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel both internal and external to the organization.


    • Establish and maintain working relationships with employees, clients, subcontractors, and management, overcoming opposition to unpopular decisions by overcoming objections diplomatically is essential.


    • General knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.


    • Analytical/problem solving skills.

    • Mid Level ERP System knowledge.


    • Very strong attention to detail.


    • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented to handle multiple simultaneous projects under strict time constraints.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

    Work is performed primarily indoors with travel to sites by motor vehicle and/ or air.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


    • Manual dexterity and sitting for extended periods of time.


    • Frequent standing and walking.


    • Occasional climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and crouching.


    • Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents.


    • Lifting and / or exerting force up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds of lifting/force frequently.


    • Occasional driving of motor vehicles
