    About Laws Whiskey House

    Established in 2011, Laws Whiskey House is a purpose driven, grain-to-bottle whiskey distillery founded on the principle that the soul of its whiskey is comprised of the people who grow it, the people who make it, and the people who drink it. Using the traditional method of open-air, on grain fermentation, Laws' whiskeys feature high altitude grown American mother grains and mountain spring water while aging in 53-gallon charred American oak barrels.     POSITION SUMMARY

    Come join our new Tasting Room Team as a Bartender/Brand Ambassador. This position will report to the Tasting Room GM and is responsible for the on-site guest experience. The main functions are to provide our guests with a hospitable and memorable experience through teamwork and a positive attitude. Bartenders/BA's are expected to reinforce the brand position and brand strategy through exceptional customer service and attentiveness to a welcoming space.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Cultivates a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes equitable practices and demonstrates a commitment to diversity.
    • Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests.
    • Must present a professional appearance and engage guests with a polite manner.
    • Wash and maintain glassware standards.
    • Regularly clear and clean tables
    • Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions, including operating cash register, POS, opening/closing duties, and updating guest information.
    • Conduct fun and informative tastings and/or provide samples to encourage sales.
    • Assist with, report, and document, as appropriate, problematic guest situations.

    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Must be 21 years of age.
    • Must have a strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and spirits.
    • Strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment for prolonged periods of time.
    • Experience in handling cash and credit card transactions.
    • Previous bartending experience required preferably in a cocktail bar/restaurant setting.
    • TIPS Certified is a must.
    • Demonstrates passion and the ability to ensure excellent guest experience.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to work long hours on your feet.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to reach, bend, lift, and stoop.
    • Ability to remain focused and level-headed in demanding situations.

    COMPENSATION

    Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

    Hourly Rate:

    $15.27 +TIPS

    Position Hours:

    • Tuesday – Sunday (shifts range from as early as 11am and as late as 11:30pm)
    • We are opening our new Tasting Room and have approximately 3 positions to fill.
    • We are looking for Full & Part Time Bartenders.
    • Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
