- Perform basic formvar operations and respool finished wire.
- Conduct final product inspections and raw material inspections.
- Assist with internal calibrations, process audits, and quality control activities.
- Handle document control, weigh-pickle-weigh inspections, and process audits.
- Complete data entry, data analysis, and inventory tasks.
- Ensure compliance with ISO:9001 standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and statistical trend analysis.
- Assist in reviewing, editing, and writing procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Willingness to evolve with the position.
- Basic understanding of chemistry and elements.
- Participation in improvement projects and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Previous experience in a metal shop environment.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting specifications and using measuring devices.
- Mechanical skills and precision tool experience.
- Strong writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of ISO:9001 standards and process audits.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong math skills and basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50-60lbs occasionally.
- Willingness to perform desk work and be on foot throughout the day.
- Comfort with working with small parts and precision tools.
- Ability to spend hours in front of a computer screen as needed.
