    One of our clients is looking for a Special Education Teacher in Baltimore, MD.

    HOURS
    • Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
    SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
    • Conducts Special Education Screening Procedures following legal mandates
    • Acts as IEP team case manager for meetings
    • Conducts educational assessments and prepares reports
    • Maintains confidential records
    • Provides direct instruction according to IEPs
    • Must be open to covering various subjects
    CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Eligible or willing to obtain Special Education certification from Maryland State Department of Education
    • Background Check
    • Minimum one year of professional teaching experience in Special Education
    • Knowledge of State and Federal special education laws
    • Understanding of special education principles and practices
    • Familiarity with subject areas in basic and secondary education
