Business Analyst Position at Harrisburg PA - Onsite

Description of the Role:

The Business and Process Analyst will collaborate with product owners, the platform architect, and scrum teams. The main focus is on identifying, documenting, and evaluating business processes and requirements, assisting developers, and testing new features.

Responsibilities include:

Defines and documents customer business processes.
Analyzes and develops requirements for new systems or enhancements.
Tracks changes to specifications, writes user guides, and provides training procedures.
Identifies opportunities to enhance processes and helps prepare proposals for system improvements.
Prepares statistical reports for management decision-making.
Leads functional testing, participates in system integration testing, and supports user acceptance testing.
Provides technical support in training and ensures customer requirements are met.
Assists in creating standard documentation, layouts, templates, and terminology.

Essential Functions:

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Research, assess, and document the customer landscape related to people, processes, technology, and business partners.
Ability to operate efficiently in an agile project environment.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team.

Experience Required:

5+ years of experience in requirements facilitation and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
3+ years of experience in agile software development projects.
3+ years of business or technical consulting experience.
Experience with the ServiceNow Platform is a plus.
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification is desirable.
Previous government experience is a strong advantage.
