Description

Insure the visual appearance of the store and high standards of customer service and accurate cash handling. This is a very "hands-on" position, requiring physical activity.


Provide excellent customer service:
greeting each visitor, offering help and accurately completing register transaction.


Register operation:
opening, closing, handling customer transactions and securing money in register.

Count $500 box everyday you open. Make sure that you initial money log at opening and closing the registers.


Check stock:
make sure that you have everything you need before opening.

Check for register tape and pens before you open.


Stocking:

make sure everything stays stocked; chips, juices, condiments, napkins, coke syrup, cups and anything else that the Café uses on a daily basis.

Store appearance:
dusting, pick up trash /debris from floor, sweeping, cleaning windows, tables and chairs. Clean walls when you see ketchup, mustard or any other item on them. Clean murals and keep counter under soda machine clean. Follow daily cleaning list.

Make sure Café doors open at 10:30am if you are the person opening.

Make sure Café closes at 5:30pm if you are the person closing.

Check all doors at night; make sure that they are all locked.

Properly sanitize soft serve equipment nightly.

Keep front area organized and clean. Make sure Gatorade, Coke syrups, Capri Suns and waters are always off floor on crates. Make sure all cups stay covered with plastic.


Uniform:
make sure you always have on proper uniform. (Hats or hairnets should always be on - no excuses.)

Make sure you are always up front helping the cashiers out unless you are assigned as order taker.

Must be able to lift 25lbs

Ability to stand for extended period of time.

Monitor vending machines in courtyard including stocking product and emptying cash.

Other duties as assigned.
