    Job Title:
    Business Analyst


    Location:
    Jersey City/NJ

    Duration: 24 Months

    Responsibilities


    Job Description:
    Prepares technical documentation for consumption by project stakeholders
    Works to streamline the tasks and processes, building in efficiencies by leveraging automation where possible
    Works with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables and artifacts that are intended for audiences of varying levels of technical and business knowledge
    Organizes, writes, and edits supporting technical and project documents as needed
    Develops and maintains documentation required for system security certification
    Develops and improves methodology for delivering information
    Assists Architects, Product Owners, and other team members with soliciting, documenting, and tracking business requirements

    Requirements

    Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
    3-5 experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on decision management and rules engines
    Proficiency in modeling decision tables, rule flows, and decision trees
    Experience translating technical information into clear, concise documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
    Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
    Strong documentation skills
    Experience documenting and creating processes
    Be able to consult and lead discussions and make recommendations throughout the process
    Be comfortable in a high-paced environment and be able to manage relationships effectively
    Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
    Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
    Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and the Google Tool Suite
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily
    The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States
