Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Vertical Lift, Attack Division, is seeking a Senior Airframe Design Engineering Manager to lead our team in Mesa, AZ
This position oversees an organization of approximately 65 engineers and 3 first-line managers
The team provides support to multiple programs across the enterprise including commercial aircraft, fixed-wing fighter jets, space, and proprietary programs
Additionally, this team is responsible for the design of the Attack helicopter programs primary and secondary structures

Engage with first line leaders to ensure that all decisions are made with consideration of safety of product and people.

Provide engineers the space and opportunity to creatively engage in innovative design solutions.
Identify solutions when issues arise with meeting budget or schedule targets
Communicate deviations to plan effectively to leadership
