Nature & Purpose of Position

The Lead Graphic Design position works closely with the Lowman Student Center Associate Director of Student Development and Communication, assisting with the creation of marketing materials for the Lowman Student Center.- Requires the ability to create graphic content from concept to implementation and follow the SHSU Marketing Brand Guide.

Student should be able to use Adobe Creative Cloud tools and have completed at least two semesters of Graphic Design related courses.- Provide assistance as a team player with various Lowman Student Center services, programs, and initiatives.- Work closely with the Lowman Student Center staff to define project focus to meet project deadlines, and train other Marketing student staff.- Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements for the Position

Photography skills
Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Must be able to work year round
Computer design skills (Adobe Products preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to work well with others as well as independently
Ability to multitask several projects
Able to meet the demands of a varied schedule, including LSC staff meetings and trainings
