- Prepares route sheets, bus rosters, payroll reports, memos, letters, and various documents;
- Compiles, copies, sorts, updates and maintains department files, inventory, mailing and database systems, either manually or using a computer;
- Types, formats, proofreads, and edits correspondence;
- Computes, records, and proofreads data and other information such as records or reports;
- Reviews files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests;
- Maintains records and reports of fuel consumption; maintain emergency forms and bus attendance;
- Answers telephones, take and route messages, answer radio calls and follow specified procedures;
- Handles inquires and concerns of parents, providers, drivers, riders, mechanics, and the general public in a courteous and responsible manner;
- Completes schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments as directed;
- Opens, sorts, and routes incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail;
- Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers;
- Assist transportation staff with basic computer entry tasks;
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job DescriptionSUMMARY
Prepares documents, creates and maintains records, answers phones, and responds to inquiries and needs of the Transportation Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school;
or three (3) to six (6) months of related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CPR, First Aid, and MANDT Behavior Training.
