    Bus Driver | 7 Hours | Transportation Department | Start Date: ASAP | 10 Month Calendar | 10 Positions Available

    This position will remain open until filled

    Hiring Administrator: Carol Hatfield

    GENERAL DUTIES:

    Operate District vehicles of various sizes for the purpose of safely transporting students or supporting District programs. Follow procedures to ensure that vehicles are safe to drive.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school diploma or its equivalent
    • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
    • Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
    • Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a valid Oregon School Bus Driver's Certificate or be able to obtain both within 60 days
    • Pass a pre-employment drug test
    • Paid training available
    • All DMV costs are reimbursable upon successful completion of training
    • Summer work available training and certification process
    • 100% of the district contribution towards benefits
