Roman Empire Living Skills, Inc. Provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout California.


We are looking for a detail-oriented Case Specialist/ Case Manager to be in charge of all quality assurance activities and case management.

The Case Specialist's responsibilities include developing and implementing quality assurance policies, conducting calls, identifying obstacles, case management and presenting solutions.


To be successful as a Case Specialist you should be incredibly thorough and able to help our company maintain the highest quality standards.


Case Specialist/ Case Manager Responsibilities:


  • Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures and case management
  • Performing routine calls a minimum of 1x per month to active consumers; Calling consumers daily to ensure quality of service.
  • Communicate with appropriate department at Regional Center and provide updates on consumer progress.
  • Call consumers that are on hold to identify the status of their services.
  • Identify and ensure all active consumers have active authorizations.
  • Communicate with Intake & Scheduling Department regularly.
  • Update internal documentation platforms.
  • Submit Special Incident Reports within 24 hours; per requirement from Regional Center.
  • Complete Quality Assurance calls with employees mid month to ensure authorized hours are being completed.
  • Identifying and resolving workflow and service issues.
  • Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with Executive Department.
  • Documenting quality assurance activities.
  • Making recommendations for improvement.
  • Creating training materials, as needed.
  • Availability after hours in case of emergency

Case Specialist/ Case Manager
Requirements:


  • Master's Degree is Required (in education, psychology, nursing, social work, medical fields)


  • Bilingual

  • English/Spanish Required
  • 2 years experience as a Case Specialist/ Case Manager required
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Pay:
Up to $52,000.00 per year
