We have an exciting opportunity for a Department Assistant to join GA-SI group located Rancho Bernardo, CA.


Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of routine administrative activities in support of functional areas including representing our division as the first point of contact with visitors, receiving and dispatching daily mail, restocking office supplies, and processing expense reports following audit standards for the Aero Services division of GA-SI.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide a welcoming presence at the reception area.
  • Greet office guests and personnel directing them to the person or office they're visiting.
  • Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all necessary supplies.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and packages to their appropriate departments.
  • Restock common areas such as copy rooms, supply cabinets, and kitchen areas.
  • Process expense reports following audit standards.
  • Coordinate and track the progress of unit work assignments and/or projects.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Additional Functions

Job Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess:
  • The ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to establish priorities.
  • The ability to identify issues and solve routine problems.
  • Good analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document and report.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance is required.

Salary:
$35,390 - $52,625
