Dr. Bookheimer's lab is looking for a student assistant to provide assistance on the ABCD study.


Duties include:

  • Assist in participant recruitment (screening, scheduling, and other participant outreach)
  • Data collection (administering questionnaires, semistructural interviews, neurocognitive ipad games and computer games, biospecimen) inperson and remotely via Zoom
  • Assist in MRI scanning (second scanner) at the Brain Mapping Center and Staglin scanning locations.
  • Restock supplies in testing areas as instructed and other clerical tasks
  • Attend weekly lab meetings.
  • File study data as instructed. Must be a current UCLA Student, comfortable running a 36 hour protocol, assisting in screening, scheduling, participant outreach, and other general clerical lab tasks. This position will require remote and inperson duties. This position will require weekend and afterhours availability.

Pay Range:
$ $37.50 hourly.


Qualifications:


  • Must be a current UCLA student.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, Internet, Mac OS
  • Proficient writing and editing skills.
  • Be highly organized and reliable.
  • Ability to prioritize work; communication skills to speak clearly and distinctly.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment; maintain positive working relationships with staff and faculty; ability to work independently.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Communicate clearly orally for telephone calls, presentations and community activities.
