Position:
Accounts Receivable Specialist, Logistics Division


Reports to:
Vice President of the Logistics Division


Location - Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities:


  • Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and account updates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Ensure the resolution of all invoices entered and uploaded into the system.
  • Assist in account reconciliations and dispute resolution with carriers.
  • Process incoming payments via various channels, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain spreadsheets with tender details and oversee the processing and settlement of invoices.
  • Assist in scheduling logistics tasks and coordinating with carriers and receivers.
  • Generate customer aging reports.
  • Assist in fraud/double brokering investigations when issues arise.
  • Establishing new customer records, obtaining invoicing contact information, and aiding Kara in completing necessary forms.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 23 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment

  • Knowledge of logistics operations and terminology is a plus.

Schedule:


  • Monday to Friday
