Your tasks


As a project engineer in the automotive industry, you will take on responsibility in projects along the entire supply chain. You will plan and implement logistics processes in strategy projects and product launches, optimize series operations in ongoing production, or develop comprehensive logistics concepts in factory planning projects.

Our team's tasks include:

Intralogistics process planning

  • Planning and implementation of logistics processes in new projects, as well as analysis and optimization in series production to ensure production supply
  • Planning, coordination, and implementation of holistic material flows from suppliers to production consumption
  • Integration of new products into existing logistics concepts
  • Planning of warehouse facilities, picking zones, loading carriers, baskets, route trains, supermarkets, and operating resources
  • Economic analysis and cost optimization for new launches and in series production
  • JIS supplier integration from delivery location to provision in production through regular workshops to define logistics processes (logistics, IT, transport, quality management)
  • Layout planning of logistics areas for production tests and new launches

Big Data & Digitalization

  • Establishment, maintenance, and further development of customer-specific databases with a focus on logistics/supply chain in the automotive industry for OEMs and suppliers
  • Development and programming of frontend and backend solutions based
