Your tasks

  • You work closely with a team of experts on improving the manipulation and perception system of our robot
  • You develop and optimize algorithms for image processing, (3D) camera-based object segmentation, and robot manipulation
  • You develop algorithms for machine learning for the perception and manipulation behavior of robots

Your profile

  • You have completed your master's or PhD in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • You have more than 3 years of relevant experience in developing perception and manipulation algorithms and working with robots
  • You write production-ready code in C++ and Python
  • Your in-depth knowledge of current research in the field of image processing and computer vision is convincing
  • You have experience in integrating and calibrating various optical sensors into a ROS-based system
  • Ideally, you have
    • ... experience working in a team that has successfully sold products
    • ... experience with methods of machine learning
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus
