    Job Responsibilities:

    Direct Student Service:
    Provide case management crisis intervention, triage assessments, consultation, and referrals.

    Coordinate care of identified students, including communication and liaison relationship with community agencies and providers.


    Assist referred students and families in making use of university and/or community resources including but not limited to housing insecurity, food insecurity, and emergency funding.

    Consult regularly with campus partners regarding services, access, and care to maintain strong collaborative relationships.

    Serve as a student conduct advocate.

    Coordinate outreach programming, including planning and conducting programs.
    Participate in campus wide investigational, educational or community building committees.

    Participate in ongoing professional development appropriate to the position and jointly identified by the employee and supervisor and/or participate on department, division and university committees, task forces and projects as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor's degree:
    Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

    Minimum of 3 years of full-time relevant professional experience


    Skills:
    Professional experience working with culturally diverse populations and range of presenting concerns/diagnoses.

    Professional experience in crisis intervention, substances abuse prevention, and college populations.

    Knowledge of behavioral intervention policy and procedure.

    Solution focused approach to student care.

    Strong written communication skills, including the capacity to articulate complex concepts in a clear, concise, and accessible manner.

    Expertise in utilizing various electronic communication platforms, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information.

    High emotional intelligence a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.

    Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

    Demonstrate a flexible attitude and committed to continuous improvement in response to evolving market trends and best practices.

    Comfort with an active pace of a healthcare setting


    Ability to manage and maintain confidential and private information; uses confidential, sensitive and/or private records and information, protects information appropriately.


    Ability to establish, nurture, and sustain effective working relationships based on respect, empathy and honesty with diverse groups and individuals.

    Competence using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and electronic calendaring software.

    Experience using technology and systems to support administrative, operation and program functions.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience working in a higher education health, counseling, or wellness center.

    Proficiency in ASL

    Prior experience using SIS, Oracle, Outlook, PyraMed, CampusGroups, StarRez, and/or Maxient systems.

    Job Summary:
    The Case Manager, Non-clinical will work closely with campus partners to provide case management services. The Case Manager, Non-clinical will report to the Associate Director of Student Case Management.

    The Case Management department serves undergraduate and graduate students with at risk mental health and social support needs through interventions, referrals, and connection to follow-up services.

    The candidate for this position will be an advocate for student success, possess a demonstrated ability to multi-task, be able to effectively manage a diverse caseload, and understand the complexities of supporting students amid crises.

    The Case Manager, Non-clinical will work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate services for a specified group of students.

    In addition, they will outreach to students and where appropriate to families with a focus on physical and mental health prevention and maintenance.
