Principal Radar Analyst, in King George, VA

This position supports the

Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division

.

Responsibilities:
The position will focus leading current and future radar system design and production.

The position will support technology developments, technology insertions, prototyping and technology demonstrations in support of a mission critical and highly visible new program.

Responsibilities

will include, but not limited to:
Performing complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or sensor software development.
Experienced in formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the engineering tasks associated with the radar/sensor program/project.

Perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.

Required

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, computer or electronics engineering. Other acceptable majors include mathematics, computer science or physics.
A minimum of 10 years general sensor engineering experience (8 years with accredited master's degree, 5 with an accredited Ph.
D degree)
A minimum of active secret clearance and US Citizenship required
Preferred

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex radar engineering, design analysis, or radar software development
Solid technical background as demonstrated by certifiable experience formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the tasks specified.
Experience and ability to perform detailed complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration
