River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is an 84-bed treatment facility, conveniently located in beautiful central Jacksonville, FL that specializes in the successful treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues for youth, adults and seniors.

We are pleased to announce the following available position: FT LVN/LPN


The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers nursing care to adults, children and adolescent patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Responsible for utilizing technical nursing skills in providing care to designated patients and incorporates a basic understanding of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.

Serves as an active member of the treatment team; a medication nurse, and maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients.


Qualifications:


Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing School; maintains current Florida license; one year nursing experience, psychiatric and/or addictions nursing preferred.
