    We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in Fort Worth, TX, and take control of their career potential.

    This role involves partnering with a multi-disciplinary team to develop innovative designs for electrical substations, contributing to the safe and reliable delivery of electricity across the United States.


    Key Responsibilities:
    As an Electrical Engineer within the substation team you will have the chance to engage in a variety of challenging and impactful tasks, including:Creative Problem-Solving:Apply creative thinking to address complex challenges faced by the largest utilities in North America

    Substation Physical Design:
    Perform diverse aspects of substation physical design, encompassing yard layout plans, sections, details, grounding, lightning protection, control building arrangements, interior and exterior raceways, auxiliary AC/DC power systems, and associated bills of material

    Protection and Control Design:
    Undertake facets of substation protection and control design, including panel arrangements, one lines/single lines, three lines, AC schematics, DC schematics, equipment wiring, and relay panel wiring

    Quality Review and Specification:
    Conduct or oversee quality reviews of substation design elements

    Prepare equipment specificationsConstruction Support:
    Provide support to clients during the construction phase

    Field Inspections and Compliance:
    Perform field inspections and ensure compliance documentation

    Leadership and Communication:
    Lead a team of single- or multi-discipline professionals to ensure project success.
    Present designs and proposals to clients, permitting authorities, public interest groups, etc.
    Correspond and/or meet with clients, contractors, and vendors.


    Project Proposal and Leadership Advancement:
    Participate in project proposal efforts

    Advance into leadership rolesQualifications:


    To thrive in this role, you should possess:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program3 years of electrical engineering experience, with a preference for consulting experience.

    Successful completion (i.e., passing) FE or EIT preferred.
    Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
    Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, 2D and 3D rendering programs, and other analysis programs.
