We are currently seeking a Network Administrator (m/f/d) for our location in Oranienburg, Huntsville, to start immediately in a full-time position.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the operation, optimization, and monitoring of our network and IT infrastructure
  • You will handle the administration of security appliances and applications such as firewalls, IDS, IPS, antivirus software, NAC, EDR, patch and software distribution systems
  • You will be in charge of expanding and hardening monitoring systems and log servers
  • You will continuously review existing security solutions and adapt them to current standards and technologies if necessary
  • You will plan and implement digitization projects with the engineering team in the IT and OT environment
  • You will be responsible for connecting storage and virtualization systems with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
  • You will document technical issues and projects

Who we are looking for

  • You have successfully completed training as a specialist in computer science or have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • You have professional experience in the administration of heterogeneous IT environments and extensive expertise in IP networks and network protocols
  • You have good analytical thinking skills, technical understanding, and problem-solving skills
  • You have a strong interest in technological and methodological trends and a desire to
