    Responsibilities

    As the master engineer within the product development team, you are responsible to architecting, design and lead the whole technical development team in instrument hardware (digital, analog, mixed signal, FPGA and DSP) design for Keysight test & measurement instrument.

    Design activities involving in architecting new measurement platform for Keysight instrument. You are expected to have advanced experiences in high-speed digital, precision analog and mixed signal design. Fluence in CPLD and FPGA development. Excellent skillset in troubleshooting power supplies and analog circuit design and high-speed digital are a must for the job.

    You are required to work closely with mechanical, software (application and embedded) engineers within the development team to define and optimize the hardware system design to maximize the performance and quality with minimum cost.

    Typical activities require for this job are
    Architecting and defining new measurement system to address new measurement requirements.
    Well verse in latest technology trends and development, involving in future product roadmap planning. Defining product platform roadmap and future design direction.
    Strong knowledge in understanding customer applications and provide optimum solution through system design of instrument.

    Strong multi-disciplines (HW, SW, FW, ME) development knowledge and responsible to define, design and lead the development team in developing the overall instrument system.

    Work closely with mechanical, software (application and embedded) engineers within the development team to define and optimize the hardware system design to maximize the performance and quality with minimum cost.

    Conduct investigation and feasibility study during the early stage of PLC.
    Leading the design team in system hardware and software integration.
    Develop and define instrument system architecture according to product specifications and scopes.
    Conduct design verification, component selection and evaluation.
    Develop hardware design document to promote consistent design practices and process.
    Promote good design practice and optimize reusable design block.
    Establish, refine and improve hardware design process.
    Understand software management system and practice proper documentation revision control.

    Qualifications
    PhD/Master/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
    Good understanding and experience in whole product development cycle.
    Good experience in hardware and software system integration.
    Good experience in using analog and digital simulation tools.
    Good knowledge in embedded system design and operation.
    Experience in using FGPA design tool such as Modelsim and QuestaSim, Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus.
    Good organizational, planning and communication skills; and ability to work in a team
    Good command of written and spoken English.
    Minimum 12 years of design experience.
