We are looking for interested individuals (m/f/d) for a voluntary social year (FSJ) in the field of primary, secondary, and special education in Bay City, MI.

Your new area of work:
CJD Elze offers various types of schools, privately run and located in Elze and the surrounding area.

We offer FSJ positions at CJD Elementary School Adensen, CJD Elementary School Eime, CJD Special Education School Elze, and CJD Realschule Elze.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervising students during study times and homework, assisting in class in coordination with teachers
  • Organizing activities during breaks and assisting with supervision
  • Accompanying classes on excursions/trips
  • Providing homework and study help
  • Serving lunch
  • Planning and organizing events and celebrations
  • Afternoon and evening care
  • Playing, crafting, reading, exercising, and singing together
  • Organizing holiday camps (together with educational staff)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Enjoyment and enthusiasm for working with children and teenagers
  • Reliability, communication skills, and teamwork
  • Interest in educational issues
  • Actively contributing personal skills and abilities to school life (e.g. sports, music, creativity)
  • Interest in personal development

We offer:

  • Monthly allowance of 350€
  • Travel allowance
  • 3 block seminars of 7 days each at CJD
