Position Details:
Weekend Shift 5:00am-5:00pm Fri-Sun plus 20% Differential
Your Expertise:
- 12 years in aerospace environment
- Good mathematical skills
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills
Your Challenge:
- Perform a variety of duties to set up and water jet strip parts in preparation for the overhaul of aircraft engines to meet customer specifications and achieve quality results
- Work from established practices and overhaul manual instructions and procedures to perform a variety of duties to prepare parts for subsequent operations
- Verify part tags against part numbers upon receipt of parts; review of work scope, manual and SPOP specifications for correct process and solutions; and selection of proper fixtures for processing
- Plan and prioritize work to ensure efficient and timely water jet stripping of parts
- Monitor WJS equipment on a daily basis: Check pumps, lines, filters, floats, and temperature of solutions
- Perform other duties as needed
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
