- Coordinate all phases of the development cycle from concept to production hand-off
- Review and refine tech packs for completeness and clarity, ensuring all necessary information is provided for sample development
- Support start-up brands and contribute to the re-branding process
- Identify and collaborate with suitable factories for projects
- Ensure development aligns with sourcing and customer strategies
- Facilitate communication and coordination among various teams for timely product updates, approvals, and issue resolutions
- Provide alternative sourcing options to meet margin targets and customer needs
- Proactively anticipate and address potential obstacles in the development process
- Track and analyze seasonal development metrics
- Manage communication regarding design development calendar, product requirements, and pricing
- Conduct in-development testing with suppliers and escalate any risks for prompt resolution
- Build strong relationships with vendors
- Specialization or Degree in Design/Technical apparel
- 3-5 years' experience in product development or garment manufacturing
- Advanced knowledge of fabrics and trims used in garment development, with the ability to select appropriate materials
- Experience working in diverse and fast-paced environments
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with expertise in tools like Word, Excel, and PLM Systems
- Proactive, able to multitask, and take initiative
- Solution-oriented with a results-driven mindset
