Description

The large district town of Leutkirch in the Allgäu region (population) is seeking a/an plant technician, specialist for water supply technology, or industrial mechanic (m/f/d) to support the operations team at the municipal utility company, Städtische Wasserversorgung, as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities

Operating, monitoring, and maintaining water supply systems and wells
Maintaining and renewing the pipeline network with a total length of approximately 400 km
Evaluating and resolving mechanical malfunctions, including locating and repairing pipe breaks
Monitoring water quality and participating in required checks and tests according to the Drinking Water Ordinance
Assisting customers and service providers

Our requirements

Completed vocational training as a specialist for water supply technology, sanitation and waste disposal specialist with a focus on drinking water, plumbing and heating technician, maintenance mechanic or industrial mechanic, electrician, or a similar qualification (m/f/d)
Willingness to participate in job-specific further training courses
Basic knowledge of computer applications
Willingness to participate in on-call duty after the training period
Valid class
