    Beatrice Bakery Co, is looking for someone that can bring in new customers, build relationships and sell our amazing products.

    Job Description

    We are looking for a highly confident, energetic, and dynamic candidate to join Beatrice Bakery and Grandma's Bake Shoppe as an National Sales Executive. Your role will be crucial in the continued growth and success of our consumer packaged goods bakery. This role works with large national and regional grocery chains through brokers and large wholesale/catalog companies.

    Beatrice Bakery is a locally owned and operated manufacturer of the world famous Grandma's fruitcake brand, specialty liqueur cakes and breakfast breads.

    Joining as a team member at Beatrice Bakery you will experience the camaraderie of a family atmosphere making high quality branded products for consumers and resellers across the United States. The National Sales Executive role is a fixed salary for the first two years, with opportunities to earn bonus and commission for performance. Seasonal travel required, 30-40% of your week will be local or national travel

    Key responsibilities:
    • Responsible for prospecting and developing new business
    • Strategize sales calls to maximum closing of new sales
    • Analysis target markets
    • Continually build customer relationships
    • Maintain and service accounts
    • Represent Beatrice Bakery Co. at trade shows and community events
    • Conduct out-of-office sales calls to prospects and current customers
    • Develop techniques and strategies to optimize sales
    • Work closely with marketing team on branding, advertising and sales
    • Provide projects, reports and budgets
    • Provide weekly forecasts
    • Work with administration and company departments to develop price lists
    • Participate in development of annual sales budget targets
    • Performs other duties as directed by the company President

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $50, $80,000.00 per year

    • Bachelor's (Preferred)
    Experience:
    • Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
    Qualifications
    • Superior understanding of how to identify customer needs and meet those needs with offer of the bakery.
    • Demonstrated experience in successful selling, 2-3 years prior sales experience preferred but not required.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Desire to work in a constantly adapting environment to capture revenue generating opportunities.
    • Ability to generate new ideas, problem solve, overcome objections, and think on your feet.
    • A passion for high quality food products.
    • Proven negotiation skills and ability to analyze data.
    • Organized individual trained in or experience with pipeline management and lead management tracking processes.
    Additional Information
    • Must be able to communicate clearly and distinctly (written and verbal)
    • Must have good organizational skills
    • Must be able to travel
    • Must have visual/hearing ability sufficient to recognize or detect warning devices/signs
    • Must be capable of movement throughout the plant
