    Quality Engineer

    Overview:

    As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections and tests on products, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. Your role will be integral in maintaining and enhancing our quality management systems. In addition, you will have the opportunity to train and educate employees on quality standards, further strengthening our commitment to excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product quality
    • Conduct inspections and tests on products at various stages of production
    • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer service, to resolve quality issues
    • Train and educate employees on quality standards and procedures
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and make recommendations for improvement
    • Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records
    • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practices

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of quality engineering experience
    • Must have experience working in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service) company
    • Must have experience with SMT and PCBA
    • Certified IPC610, J-STD 001 trainer with ability to train exempt and non-exempt personnel preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field preferred

    Location:

    San Jose, CA

    Salary:

    $85K - $110K commensurate with experience
