Medical Benefit Plan Liaison


The primary point of contact for employees to address their questions, concerns about the medical plan; assist in confirmation of coverage with providers/facilities and act as a liaison to the TPA regarding claims.


Responsibilities:


  • Educate plan members on the medical plan features and design.
  • Assist plan members on identifying providers and facilities.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and the TPA regarding claims, EOB, Balance Billing issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and insurance providers, monitoring and reporting on insurance claim issues.
  • Audit Claims reporting, identifying items to be addressed.
  • Assist with analyzing benefit program data.

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma (GED), post High School Education strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of medical selfinsured benefit plans and compliance requirements.
  • Superb customer service and interpersonal skills with strong communication abilities both written and verbal.
  • Detailoriented mindset, able to manage benefit data accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
