(G2) is looking for a talented Configuration Management Specialist to assist the DoD Program Office in the management of the capability project portfolio in support of a DoD program.

Responsibilities:

Responsibility for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
Working closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
Providing change management and product configuration management guidance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited fouryear college or university in business administration or management
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Configuration Management or combined two years of experience in two or more of the following areas: Configuration Management; Data Management; Analytical and problem solving related to configuration management; or TopVue or similar data management tools, i.e., DOORS, CMpro
US Citizenship and either currently hold or have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Defense Acquisition University Configuration Management training, a plus
Institute of Configuration Management training, a plus

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facility

Location:

This is a full-time hybrid position.

The workforce is required to report physically to the Client office located in San Diego, CA three times a week.

Additional days at the office may be required from time to time as required to support the workload or client's request.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position in California is $70,000/year to $100,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.

Base pay information is based on market location.
