Purpose


To advance the core mission of fostering wellness, belonging, and success for all students in the College of Natural Sciences.

The administrative associate accurately processes a variety of administrative tasks including routine and recurring tasks, and complex student academic records.


Responsibilities:


  • Process a variety of studentoriented forms: petitions for modification of degree requirements, grade changes, tuition rebates, assist with veteran services authorizations, and other miscellaneous documents.
  • Represent college at commencement ceremonies as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned, including supporting special projects and staffing events within CNS.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, and five years of clerical experience, or equivalent applicable experience. Ability to multi-task. Ability to prioritize assignments. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently. Clear and effective oral and written communication skills. Professional demeanor. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

Salary Range

$41,600 (Prorated:
$20,800)


Working Conditions- Repetitive use of keyboard at a workstation.- Use of manual dexterity- May work around standard office conditions- Occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required during peak period.- Occasional heavy lifting and moving of 10+ lbs.

Work Shift- 20 hours per week Monday - Friday 100% remote work (Austin area) available
