Our brand-new daycare and boarding facility is seeking a dedicated, hardworking employee for overnight help. The shift hours will be 9:00pm - 7:00am. Monday-Sunday. We are looking to fill an entry level doggy playroom attendant/overnight attendant. Previous dog experience required.Requirements:
- Love dogs and care about their welfare.
- Be ready for a lot of cleaning
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Be comfortable around large groups of dogs
- Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Must be reliable, and on time
- Ability to multitask
- Be a team player
- Ability to communicate clearly as well as follow written and spoken directions
- A willingness to attain skills, which will be used utilized on the job
Some general duties will include the following:
Monitoring dogs, cleaning, feeding, walking the dogs, disinfecting indoor areas, kennels; mopping, vacuuming, scooping poop; cleaning bowls, cleaning gym equipment, cleaning bathroom, monitoring dogs for signs of illness; transferring dogs between: play areas; reporting changes in behavior, appetite, taking photos, signs of illness such unusual bowel movements, vomiting, etc.; minor maintenance work; and more...
