Assigned to a site but may require infrequent travel for coverage.

Work Schedule:40 hrs/wk, 4-10 hour days per week (3 days off) Shifts start at 7am or 9am

Job Summary:

As an Operations Technician you will report to the Director of Operations Support and will be a key technician in our operation supporting project buildouts that keep the bitcoin mining infrastructure functioning at optimal levels.

You will support large scale projects for both Mining Facilities to ensure that operational/infrastructure tasks and repairs are performed on time.

You will work as part of a team to build and maintain our mining infrastructure, pumps, pipes, and properties.

In this role, you will collaborate with Electrical, Networking, Logistics & Inventory and other departments to achieve cross functional project needs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct diagnostic review of parts and infrastructure to identify repair and replacement needs.
Transport heavy supplies, welding, assisting in transportation needs, and helping to get and keep miners online.
Perform welding, installation, and repair of the mining infrastructure.
Perform Pipe fitting, including torquing of fitting and assembly.
Welding, fabrication, Pipe fitting, fan & motor maintenance, small engine maintenance and other routine infrastructure and equipment maintenance.
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods.
Remove debris, garbage, and materials from the sites.
Prepare sites, materials, and tools to assist business needs.
Setup new mining systems, including unboxing and power/ ethernet.
Assist with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment such as Fork Trucks, Sky Tracks, and Scissor Lifts upon training and certification.
Interact respectfully with site owners and other vendor teams, including foreman and company management.
Low voltage electrical comprehension.
Assist with warranty information collection and submissions for Rhodium equipment, as well as maintenance of that equipment.
Organize merchandise following procedural guidelines to include necessary verifications, unpacking and routing goods to appropriate storage areas.
Comply with all safety requirements, including OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
Strive to reach expert level knowledge on the infrastructure that supports our mining operation.
Perform janitorial tasks including sweeping, squeegeeing, dusting, brooming, waste disposal, etc. to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the site operations.
Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Required Experience and Skills:

Prior technical or construction/laborer experience preferred.
Prior mining experience at scale is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of bitcoin mining machines maintenance and operations preferred.
Mechanically inclined has an aptitude for mechanical systems and components.
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

The Operations Technician must be able to speak, hear,see, read, write, type, dial, reach, stoop, pull, and bend. Must be able toendure prolonged periods of standing, and walking

Manual work:
lifting up to 30 lbs, extended reach and overhead work.
