Field Service Technician - Mesa, United States - Coverstar of Arizona

Description

Coverstar of Arizona based in East Mesa, AZ is seeking full-time mechanically inclined workers to install, diagnose, repair, and replace automatic pool cover systems and covers.

Our service technicians work Monday through Friday and travel throughout Arizona performing installation, maintenance, and repair services on all brands of automatic swimming pool covers for pool owners and pool builders.

Some hand power tool knowledge and experience are necessary. Basic construction and handyman experience is beneficial. Training provided to the right individuals. Pool operation or pool construction knowledge is a plus.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare needed materials, stock truck appropriately, and travel to a job location using GPS software, always practicing safe driving
• Use installation techniques to accurately install new automatic pool cover systems
• Use problemsolving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex repair problems, continuing to preservere when a solution is not easily identifiable
• Provide technical support and assistance onsite, including answering questions, providing advice, and responding to inquiries on organiziational products as requested
• Communicate clearly and regularly with Service Manager regarding issues with a job

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• 18 years of age or older
• Possession of a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Ability to bend, dig, reach, climb, lift heavy objects (70lbs regularly, sometimes more rarely), jump in and out of dugout holes, and get up and down from hard surfaces such as concrete and tile with ease
• Willingness to work in rain, heat, or cold
• Demonstrated hand and power tool knowledge and experience; prior installation/service experience preferred
• Ability to use good customer service skills with customers and communicate effectively with organizational staff
• Ability to maintain long working hours indluing overtime, Monday through Friday, during our busy seasons of spring, summer, and fall
• Ability to travel long distances and spend the night out of town up to four nights a week (never on weekends)
• Salary based on experience
