It's Work That Matters.

Overview:

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, and coagulation.
  • Perform quality assurance and controls required by regulatory agencies such as CAP.
  • Adapt quickly, pay attention to detail, and work effectively in teams.
  • Process specimens and provide support to laboratory operations.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant clinical experience with at least 1 year in the area of specialty.

  • Experience in abnormal hematology preferred.
  • Knowledge of general laboratory methodology.
  • Proficiency in performing assays in chemistry and operating analyzers.
  • Ability to recognize immature and malignant cells in hematology.
  • Understanding of coagulation principles and DIC panel.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate and assist others.

Education/Licensure/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology or related science required.

Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required.

ASCP Board of Registry certification as Medical Technologist, or other specialty preferred.
