Job Summary and Qualifications:


As a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Services, you are responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of your patient assignment.

You will be providing services duties that include, but are not limited to, appropriate oversight and management of patient handoffs, administration of sedation and monitoring of patients during conscious sedation, administration of stress tests, tilt table tests, administration of medications and monitoring with patients during a variety of cardiovascular diagnostic tests and/or therapeutic interventions.


What you will do in this role:

  • Assures safe handoff of patients
  • Under limited supervision provide patient and family care within a broad range of health care needs in Noninvasive procedure suite to include, but not limited to: conscious sedation, diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, chemical and exercise stress testing in the echo/vascular lab as well as tilt table evaluations.
  • You will maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results

What qualifications you may need:


  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is preferred and required to be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer date
  • 12 years of previous experience preferred
