The UTK Human Resources Office provides services to faculty, staff, student and temporary employees. We offer a culture that is supportive of respect and equity to meet the needs of our campus.AccountabilitiesRecruitment ServicesRecruits, screens and refers qualified candidates to hiring departments for further considerationPartners with departments to provide guidance on the hiring process including explanation of recruitment-related policies and procedures, posting positions, candidate screening, interviewing strategiesCounsels employees affected by reduction in forceCommunicates with candidates concerning specific vacancies, job qualifications, resume assistance, salary concerns and benefits informationExtends job offers to new hires, processes new hire paperwork and coordinates on-boardingCommunity partnershipsParticipates in community events such as career fairs, workshops, and assisted placement servicesDevelops and facilitates training programs
Qualifications
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant working experience OR Associates degree and three (3) years of relevant working experience OR five (5) years of relevant working experience.
