    Job Description

    Position Purpose:

    The Sales Associate at our company is responsible for focusing on sales in new and developing markets, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and competitive accounts to meet sales revenue targets and expand market share in a specific territory. Their main tasks include promoting, selling, and servicing CMT devices, as well as providing comprehensive technical support for CMT products to a variety of clinical professionals such as physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and patients. Additionally, they assist representatives with paperwork, equipment delivery, equipment pickup, and inventory management.

    • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to enhance skills based on an agreed-upon development program.
    • Conduct initial patient intake evaluations, including equipment delivery, outcome collection, machine settings determination, patient instruction, education, and baseline protocol establishment.
    • Establish strong patient relationships to boost motivation and program participation.
    • Work with team members to ensure high levels of patient care, satisfaction, and program compliance.
    • Handle patient equipment pickups and maintain the machine storage area.
    • Deliver presentations to healthcare professionals such as physicians, practice staff, nurses, physical therapists, and nurse case managers, focusing on generating billable prescriptions as a key success metric.
    • Maintain detailed records of all contacts and regularly visit offices/clinics within the assigned territory.
    • Plan work schedules, weekly, and monthly timetables, potentially collaborating with Sales Representatives in the territory.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical data provided by the company and communicate this information effectively during presentations to health professionals.
    • Develop strategies to increase interaction opportunities with contacts in the Physicians and Physical Therapy sector.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Physical Demands:

    The role entails physical demands that require employees to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch, as well as utilize various computer software applications. The employee must also handle lifting/moving objects weighing up to 75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities like close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment are essential. The job involves significant travel, approximately 100+ miles per day. Employees must effectively multitask between patient communication, colleague interaction, note-taking, report generation, mileage tracking, etc. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts is expected.

    Education/Experience

    • 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience with proven success for the Clinical Specialist role.
    • Bachelor's degree in health, human service, exercise, or education preferred.
    • Preferably trained or certified in coaching or motivational methodologies.
    • Experience in healthcare, human service, customer service, education, fitness, or sales fields is advantageous.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    Proficiency in Customer Service, Training, Mechanical aspects, Communication, Self-Development, Sales, Self-Confidence, Sales Planning, Organization, and Presentation Abilities.
