Happier At Home Care values not only their clients, but their caregivers, we have flexible schedules, Full Time, Part Time and some Live-in positions available.
Our caregivers provide personal care to our clients, they typically travel to our client's home and help them perform basic tasks to full on support. We help our clients with light house cleaning, bathing, meals, and may also be responsible for driving and escorting clients to appointments, grocery trips, and other errands. As the caregiver you also help the client with any mobility issues, such as in and out of their beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
The Caregiver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each client while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
Ø Engaging clients in life skills and other life enrichment activities
Ø Participating in clients daily living activities (i.e. bathing, grooming, toileting, eating)
Ø Maintaining clients records of care, condition, progress or problems that may need to be addressed by supervisor or family
Ø Establish and maintain effective and professional communication, relationship with clients, their family members and co-workers
Ø Help keep client's environment clean, organized and safe
