The financial administration of Baden-Württemberg is structured in a classic three-tier system. At the top is the Ministry of Finance of Baden-Württemberg.

The Oberfinanzdirektion Karlsruhe serves as the intermediate authority and is responsible for the administrative and technical supervision of 65 tax offices and 6 state construction offices.

Job Profile:
The main area of work for junior civil servants in the financial administration is tax administration.
