Your Mission

  • You accompany projects in the field of rigid endoscopy (HOPKINS)
  • You create system requirements with regard to clinical application as well as all other areas that an endoscope comes into contact with during its product lifetime
  • In interdisciplinary project teams, you are responsible for the technical design of endoscopes
  • You also ensure traceability of system requirements throughout the entire project duration until the final product
  • You participate in medical risk analysis and the creation of safety concepts
  • You support the project team in finding a balance between cost, development time, and technical solutions
  • You work closely with disciplines such as development, product management, production, regulatory, and RSB (reprocessing, sterilization, biocompatibility)
  • Collaboration and communication with external suppliers complete your range of tasks

Your Talents

  • Successfully completed studies in medical technology, physics, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical field
  • First professional experience in the development of endoscopes
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (IEC60601-1, ISO14971) is advantageous
  • First experience with requirements management and related tools such as PTC, Doors Polar
