We are looking for an employee (m/f/d) for the Ecumenical Telephone Counseling in Dresden starting on The position can be agreed upon for 30-39 hours per week and is permanent.

Responsibilities:

Counseling clients on the telephone or through chat counseling
Ensuring and coordinating the service offerings of the Telephone Counseling
Supervision and management of paid and volunteer staff
Implementation and development of conceptual priorities
Organization of the department, such as ensuring availability, budget management, participation in financial planning, personnel planning, support for financial accounting
Recruitment of new volunteer staff
Development of services and concepts for training and further education
Planning and implementation of training courses and further education for volunteer staff
Collaboration with the support association Telephone Counseling Dresden, specialist working groups, municipal committees, and working groups of the Diakonie
Networking within the professional association Telephone Counseling Dresden and in the regional conference East
Contact and maintenance of relationships with services and facilities of other providers as well as church communities
Representation of the Telephone Counseling in public
Working hours in day, night, and weekend shifts, regular oncall duty for volunteers in night and weekend shifts

Requirements:

Degree in social pedagogy
Recognized additional training in marriage and family counseling, systemic counseling, systemic therapy (DAKJEF), or pastoral care training (DGfP)
Supervisor training desirable
