The Opportunity

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain multiple Access databases, ensuring quality and accuracy in the database output and interfacing with project members to ensure consistent database management.
• Manages assigned Access databases for multiple project teams by utilizing reports from client databases and B&V systems such as Oracle/EPS, and SPO.
• Must understand the requirements of the client, the internal policies and procedures that must be followed to ensure compliance with division and corporate standards.

This role is based in Overland Park, Kansas.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert knowledge of Access databases (forms, Queries, Reporting, Macros, Modules)
• Experience in troubleshooting failed reporting and/or interfaces and processes related to migrated data
• Writing SQL including querying tuning
• Experience in the identification of data quality
• Reviewing existing internal databases to determine improvements and implementing change for gaining efficiencies in daily operations
• Analyzing existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Effectively communicates with technical and non-technical members of the business office
• Maintains data integrity in all work duties.
• Completes priority tasks in time allotted.
• Maintains a high degree of customer service and integrity when dealing with clients.
• May be requested to complete other duties or special projects as assigned.
• Must be able to analytically understand if entries into Access are correct while entering data.
• Must have ability to resolve problems and answer questions in a timely manner.
• Working knowledge or ability to learn quickly their assigned database.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Intermediate spreadsheet skills and intermediate word processing skills needed. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Normal office environment. Extended periods of monitor viewing. Stooping, crouching, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, turning pages, typing and writing. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Work involves sitting for extended periods of time.
