Job Description:

This is a full-time position in our Assisted Living department, Tuesday-Saturday, 2pm-10pm.

Starting pay:
$21/hr

Hiring bonus:
$500

What will I do every day?

Assist residents with simple requests as needed
Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities
Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations
Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures
Document care provided to residents consistent
Provide input to assure that resident individual service plans are current
Review 24 hour report and care check lists regularly

High school education or GED equivalent preferred
Nursing assistant course completion desired
Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Memory Care community experience required

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

First Aid certification and CPR, if required
Must be able to meet state training requirements and/or certifications
Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) desired
Minimum requirement: One year of experience working as a Caregiver in Assisted Living or working directly with individuals affected by cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's and Dementia
Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Memory Care community experience required
