- Provide leadership in the Army IT Portfolio (AITP) that involves implementing and supporting theater and enterprise operations, initiatives, projects, and programs.
- Translate strategic plans and technical guidance into objectives, strategies, and architectural guidance for their assigned installation with other NEC(s) within the region area of responsibility (AOR).
- Support the RNEC in planning and budgeting, acquisition, management, and/or IT services for the regional.
- Exercise responsibility for supervising, managing, coordinating, and directing a RNEC Division for execution of services, standards, and ensures responsiveness to IM/IT requirements.
- Anticipate and prepare for military contingencies or surges in workload as well as putting in place mechanisms to accommodate ongoing evolution of customer requirements.
