About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Superintendent to join our team.

In this role, you will be embedded on a large campus and responsible for responding to scheduled and (on very rare occasion) emergency service requests, performing in-depth troubleshooting, repair, and/or replacement of fire alarm system equipment, testing fire alarm systems.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Respond to scheduled and (on rare occasion) emergency service requests on the campus, performing indepth troubleshooting, repair, and/or replacement of fire alarm system equipment.
  • Ability to program fire alarm systems or experience with programming fire alarm systems on site.
  • Frequently resolve problems through research of multiple alternatives.
  • Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and the customer.
  • Assist customer onsite with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effectively communicate project status to management.
  • Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required.
  • Knowledge of testing fire alarm systems and keeping track of testing frequencies that facility has established. Including review of test reports.
  • Industryrelated NICET and/or CA State Certification is preferred or obtained within one year of hire.
  • Experience with the following manufacturers: Edwards/EST, Kidde systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm fiber network.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be reliable and responsive.
  • Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Fire Alarm/Low Voltage industry.

Physical Requirements:


  • Able to lift up to 75lbs.
  • Carrying of a ladder can be expected.

Pay:
$90, $100,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift

Fire Alarm: 1 year (preferred)


License/Certification:
