At the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science Education at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, a position as

Research Associate

(Salary Group 13 TV-L)
will be available at the earliest possible date. The position is part-time (65%) and limited to three years. The teaching obligation is 4 hours per week for a full-time position.

Your tasks:

Investigation of motivational and cognitive learning conditions for successful mathematics education
Collaboration in research projects of the working group
Participation in teaching activities
Assistance with organizational tasks of the working group
The position also includes conducting a doctoral project.

Our expectations:

Excellent Master of Education degree for teaching at secondary schools with a focus on mathematics (or equivalent)
Good knowledge of English
Interest in academic work and desire to pursue a doctorate
Experience in conducting and evaluating empirical studies in the field of mathematical modeling is desirable.
